Immigration Attorney (Hybrid)

About the Job:
This is a full-time position for a staff Immigration Attorney. Time in both office locations is required with flexibility for remote work. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for managing immigration cases, including representation in removal proceedings, asylum cases, and other similar areas. The Immigration Attorney will also be responsible for engaging in community outreach and legal education, performing legal research, counseling clients, developing legal strategies, and advocating for immigrant justice. Travel around Washington State is required to effectively serve our communities and clients. Our ideal candidate will be based in Central or Eastern Washingron or willing to relocate to the region.
Qualifications:

• Expertise in Immigration Issues, Immigration Law, and Legal Issues
• Experience with cases including, but not limitef to visas, removal proceedings, U-Visa, T-Visa, SIJS and asylum cases,
• Ability to develop legal strategies and counsel clients in various immigrant legal matters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as actively participate in a positve, cooperative and collaborative team.
• Demonstrated commitment to social justice, immigrant rights, and community service
• Fluency in a second language Spanish language fluency is preferred.
• Active Bar Membership in Washington or ability to become a member within the first 3 months of employment
