We seek a Business ImmigrationSenior Associate Attorney for our International Transactions & Trade practice. The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working on a range of employment-based immigration matters, including developing immigration strategies, programs, and processes for corporate employers to manage their foreign national workforce.
We are a collaborative team seeking an attorney ready to exercise the initiative necessary to take their practice to the next level. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and references, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships.
Some of the responsibilities for this position include the following:
Compensation is $345,000 -$415,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid Holidays, and family care benefits. Some of the responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Assessing eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States, including, but not limited to E-1/2/3, H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM labor certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, and I-485 adjustment of status applications;
- Reviewing casework and developing a clear case strategy at the outset;
- Communicating regularly with clients regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy;
- Supervising the work of paralegal staff in case and document preparation;
- Drafting responses to requests for evidence;
- Partnering with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects; and
- Conducting in-depth research, staying abreast of changes in the law and practice, and drafting client updates on any important developments.
