Position Responsibilities:

• Communicating with patients to schedule, cancel, or reschedule appointments with ORA Imaging offices and other facilities as necessary
• Answering all incoming calls related to imaging and Testing Appointment scheduling in a friendly and efficient manner
• Transferring patient calls to the correct person or department as needed
• Accurately updating patient demographic and insurance information as needed
• Assisting patients in completing appropriate paperwork, answering patient questions/concerns
• Reviewing and analyzing imaging schedules daily to ensure optimal patient care
• Managing and coordinating all patient referrals through communication with other Physician's offices and hospitals
• Faxing reports and orders as needed
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• One year of medical appointment scheduling experience is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively with many different outside provider offices, patients, families, and staff
• Knowledge of personal computer applications and Electronic Medical Record
