Who We Are Seeking

Left Field Labs is seeking a talented Illustrator/Visual Design candidate. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for visually articulating data and information in a beautiful and compelling way. This candidate will be responsible for conveying the meaning of information through infographics, charts, graphs, maps and other content needed to visualize information and data. But, it’s not just having the know-how to input numbers in an excel sheet, this candidate is able to design and illustrate at the highest level.

This candidate will have the ability to craft unique and compelling images for digital output. They will work closely and collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, & Producers to produce beautiful artwork adhering to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

• Brainstorming with the team to produce illustration ideas
• Preparing and designing rough sketches for approvals
• Iterate and produce high-quality designs for digital output
• Enhance the design concept using a wide range of colors and graphics
• Apply isometric angles when needed
• Will sketch and take to final and polished digital form via Illustrator or photoshop or other platforms such as Figma.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• 5+ years crafting illustrations to convey marketing geared messaging.
• Portfolio of completed work in an agency or professional setting
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Figma
• Animation Experience a plus
• Proficient in digital illustration using Adobe products or (CAD) software
• Strong conceptual and artistic skills
• Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or equivalent - not always required depending on experience, skillset.

The hourly range for this role is $75.00-$110.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
