Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and raw materials, picking and filling orders from stock, overseeing the packing and shipping of orders, managing, retrieving and organizing stock.
Here are just some of the things you’ll get to do with us
- Ensuring that information recorded by the receiving clerk is correct
- Ensure that all incoming shipments have the proper documentation and proper identification of all goods and that the goods are properly inspected according to standard operating procedure DHA-02
- Verification of the accurate receipt of all incoming freight
- Inspection according to SOP to ensure incoming goods meet certain criteria and match approved standards
- Release or Reject incoming materials based on established standards and specifications
- Keep database and paperwork up to date on approved and rejected raws/components
- Check incoming freight for damage before beginning inspection
- Count the incoming shipment by the case and verify that the total number is correct
- Verify correct Dhaliwal part number to receive item under
- Perform sampling of raw material and inspection of packaging
- Sample raw materials for testing and run IR on raw material for release
Remember this is an active role and you will be on the move for your whole shift which is usually 8 hours or more.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Be able to lift heavy packages up to 50lb in a warehouse environment.
- Able to work in a cold prep area located in a walk-in refrigerator kept at 35 degrees.
- Be able to read and speak English for safety purposes.
- Must be able to count and have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions).
