Do you have a loved one that is on Medicaid and qualifies for the Children’s Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver or the Adult HCBS-CIH or HCBS-EBD waivers? If so, they may be eligible for In-Home Support Services (IHSS). We will hire on a family member to take care of the eligible member, make sure they are trained properly, and then assist with clinical supervision for supervisory visits.
IHSS has three services: homemaker, personal care, and health maintenance activities; these services are billed in 15-minute increments. A Member’s services are individualized to their needs. Therefore, a Member’s Care Plan may include some personal care and some health maintenance. It is possible that a Member’s care plan does not include any health maintenance activities.
In order to see if you or a loved one may qualify, please reach out to your case manager for an assessment. For more information, please call Hailey Anderson with Maxim Healthcare Services Denver Office at 303-487-7143.
