Job Description:
In Ice Production, you'll help create a well-stocked and well-maintained warehouse while demonstrating high efficiency. You'll prepare, cut, and process ice on a daily basis, while ensuring food safety / sanitation standards.
Duties:
- Include harvesting ice, processing, packaging and maintaining a clean environment.
- Ensures quality control of all products before sending to customers.
- Maintains sanitation of facility.
- Ensures production standards are met and provides feedback to Managers if it is not.
- Maintains organization of warehouse and freezer
- Maintain a sense of urgency for yourself and those around you.
- Create a positive environment of collaboration and teamwork.
- Strive to be reliable and focused to task.
Requirements:
- Working part or all your shift in a freezer (cold weather gear provided)
- Acquire a food handlers permit within the first 30 days of employment.
- Experience with commercial production preferred.
- Communicates routinely with Management about breaks and mealtimes.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful time sensitive situations.
- Ability to receive routine feedback on performance and production.
- Looks for opportunities for growth and skill development.
- Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs) Bend, reach, push and pull repeatedly.
- Availability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Values diversity, teamwork, and work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
