This role is with the Cognizant Integration and Process Management Practice within Enterprise Platform Services Team (IPM-EPS). Cognizant's IPM practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. IPM has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.
Job Description: As an IBM Technical Lead (APIC/API Kong /DP, Java/Spring Boot) , you will work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for the end-to-end, architecture and design of the application. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills, as well as a proven track record of administration and development with skills in Middleware Development, Administration WebSphere DataPower XI50/52, XG 45 and API Connect analysis. In return you will have opportunity to gain exposure to designing, developing, and deploying applications to the internal/external cloud.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Required:
• Experience in Middleware Development, Administration WebSphere DataPower XI50/52, XG 45 and API Connect.
• Knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience in designing and development of SOAP/REST based Web Services.
• Knowledgeable in creation of XSLT, XSD & WSDL.
• Understanding of Data power services like multi-protocol gateways, web service proxies and firewalls.
• Experience in design and development of multiple services based on different standards for SOAP / REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and non-standard services (APIs).
• Familiarity with JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations using XSLT's.
• Familiarity with implementing SLM's policies for throttling.
• Familiarity in implementing OAuth2.0, SAML, and TLS 1.2 and mutual/2way SSL.
• Experienced in design message models and schema using JSON, XSD, SOAP, WSDL, Cobol Copybook etc.
• Knowledge on developing different DataPower components such as WSP, MGP, Crpto, SSL profiles.
• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture Governance processes.
• Experience working in onsite/offshore model.
• Drive solution development through requirements gathering, analysis, discovery, business plan creation, and solution level of effort estimates.
• Create end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high tech services.
Preferred:
• Experience with Agile Methodology including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired.
• Healthcare or Insurance/Financial services industry knowledge.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
