Boscov's IAM Analyst
The IAM analyst is responsible for executing identity and access management programs to ensure appropriate user access and security across systems and applications. This role partners closely with IT, security and business teams to understand access requirements and enforce least-privilege policies. Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze user access requests and grant/deny access based on predefined roles and business requirements.
- Configure and manage user accounts, groups, and roles within the IAM system.
- Implement access governance best practices to minimize security risks and ensure compliance.
- Conduct periodic reviews of user access and identify and remediate any unauthorized access.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IAM trends and technologies.
- Proactively identify and recommend improvements to the IAM system and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Operations) to ensure effective IAM implementation.
- Implementing several projects involving the following:
- SSO
- Automating user provisioning/retirement processes
- PAM
- RBAC
- Employee password storage
- Self-service Password Reset
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in IAM or related field
- Strong understanding of access control principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Desired:
- Experience with IAM solutions such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or similar.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
- Knowledge of cloud-based IAM solutions.
- Certifications in IAM (e.g., CISA, CISSP-IAM).
- Experience with any of the below:
- Active Directory
- RACF
- Exchange
- 365
