Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced RN Assistant Clinical Director for a large Managed Long Term Care Plan with office in Brooklyn, New York. Qualified candidates will have prior MLTC Director or Manager level experience within Care Management, Care Coordination and/or Staff Development. Position is hybrid - 3 days in Brooklyn office, 2 days remote from home!
RN Assistant Clinical Director - MLTC
The role of the Assistant Clinical Director of the Health Plan ensures delivery of quality service and performance of the staff and team. The Assistant Clinical Director provides support to the team for care management issues, problem resolution, complaint resolution and other member services related issues. Manages and coordinates the activities of MLTC care coordination team to ensure that care coordination meets with regulatory guidelines and the organization’s objectives. Performs all duties inherent in the managerial role; ensures staff training, evaluates staff performance, participates in hiring, retention, evaluation and disciplining and termination of staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare related field preferred.
Current New York State license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in home care, care management, or related field required.
Knowledge of NYS regulations regarding Medicaid, Managed Long Term Care Health Plans required, and Managed Care experience preferred.
Effective oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills required.
