Sandstone Care is a leading provider of evidence-based, holistic, and individualized treatment for young adults and adolescents struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. We offer a range of services, including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs, as well as family support and alumni services.

As a Verification of Benefits Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and coverage for their treatment.

You will be responsible for:

• Verifying insurance benefits
• Responding to medical records requests
• Supporting facility and provider credentialing across the organization
• Assisting with quality assurance
• Claim follow up.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Coding certificate or associate degree in business administration or health care administration preferred.

Training & Experience:

• Strong computer systems skills necessary (Microsoft suite, etc.)
• Strong communication skills are a must, knowledge of mental health / substance use disorders preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification is strongly preferred.
