Hybrid Front End Web Developer

• This is a hybrid job. You must be able to come into the San Jose, California office at discretion of the Manager
• The initial screening will be by a 15 minute video conference: All cameras must be turned on
• All interviews will be by video with manager and hiring team: All cameras must be turned on
• Hybrid Front End Developer must live in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States
• This is a full-time job as a FriendFinder Networks employee. This is not a C2C, 1099, or Contract to Hire.

WHAT WE WANT

FriendFinder Networks is looking for a talented Hybrid Front End Web Developer who will design, develop, test, and implement web sites that are seen and used by millions of people every day all over the world. Your contributions will ensure the best possible user experience for everyone who visits our web sites 24 hours a day, every day of the year, all over the world.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Implement standards-compliant Front End code in HTML/CSS and JavaScript as well as using modern frameworks such as React, Angular
• Work on cross functional teams providing guidance on user interface design and implementation
• Test code across platforms and browsers
• Document all your work and communicate issues when they arise
• Assist troubleshooting production issues

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
• Experience developing social networking sites
• 2 years’ of front-end development experience
• 1 years’ experience with React or Angular or any JavaScript framework (i.e., js.backbone, js,node, etc.)
• You must be able to work 10:00AM to 6:PM Pacific Standard Time regardless of where you live
• You must be comfortable with adult content
• You must be at least 21 years old

WHAT IS PEFERABLE TO HAVE

• Expert proficiency in XHTML and CSS
• Experience using Photoshop/ImageReady for image slicing and optimization
• Ability to code with any or all of the following: Perl, PHP, MySQL, SEO, graphic design/UI
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, DOM, XSLT/XML, jQuery
• Familiar with cross-platform and cross-browser issues, web standards and best practices
• Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and emerging web technologies
