- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment, building comfort, energy efficiency, and related problems.
- Present findings and options to customers, providing advice as needed/requested
- Complete approved repairs, improvements, or installation within industry standards.
- Clean equipment and work area.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work.
- Maintain a clean and properly stocked truck at all times.
- Participate in all company, service, and training meetings.
Job Requirements
- EPA 1,2, and 3 Certified.
- Obtain and maintain a refrigeration license in good standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and on rooftops.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide repairs at the Service Technician level.
- Two or more years of experience as an HVAC/R installation, maintenance or Service Technician preferred
- Ability to comprehend and use controls and wiring schematics.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documentation.
- Ability to braze and solder.
- Possess the required standard tool list and keep tools in good repair.
- Ability to legibly produce all required paperwork and record-keeping on a timely basis.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Neat, clean, courteous, and professional behavior and appearance at all times.
- Attend training seminars as assigned during business hours and on evenings and weekends.
