Location: Kenmore, NY

Compensation: Salary ($35,000-$55,000) + Commission

What We Are Looking For
The HVAC ResidentialSales Representative is responsible for selling HVAC products and services to homeowners, providing excellent customer service, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The Representative works closely with homeowners to assess their HVAC needs and recommend suitable solutions. The primary goal of this position is to follow up on leads, build relationships with customers, and close sales deals for HVAC systems, maintenance contracts, and related services.
NOCO is looking to hire an experienced, customer-focused Residential HVAC Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated go-getter who is customer service-focused and wants to drive and build business for a growing organization.
What You Will Do
  1. Identify potential customers through various methods, such as leads forwarded by customer service representatives, referrals, and possible cold calling.
  2. Meet with homeowners to assess their HVAC needs, discuss options, and provide recommendations for heating and cooling systems, as well as related products and services.
  3. Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, products, and services to effectively educate customers and make informed recommendations.
  4. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, detailing the benefits of HVAC products and services to potential customers.
  5. Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair services.
  6. Negotiate pricing and terms with customers while ensuring profitability for the company.
  7. Close sales deals and obtain signed contracts or agreements from customers.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and follow up on potential leads to nurture and convert them into customers.
  9. Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions. Utilize CRM to track activities.
  10. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless installation and service delivery to customers.
  11. Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company.
  12. Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth.
  13. Educate customers on energy-efficient HVAC solutions, maintenance plans, and financing options.

What You Will Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus)
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules
  • Microsoft Office and CRM experience
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed
