It is the responsibility of the apprentice to assist the lead in installing new HVAC systems correctly and in a timely manner. The install apprentice mostly relies on instructions and pre established guidelines to perform the functions the job but may work independently for a short period of time. Will work under general supervision.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Work safely following company policies
· Help the lead installer on the jobsite
· Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
· Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job
· Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors
· Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
· Properly fill out paperwork required for each job if applicable
· Any other assigned duties as directed by leader or management
· Must have, or be able to acquire, tools needed to perform job
· Maintain a professional company image
Education, Experience and Certifications:
- High School degree or equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s license is required.
- Valid State of Texas license is required.
- At least one (1) year experience as HVAC is required.
- Previous experience in the multi-family construction industry is preferred.
- HVAC experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- None
Physical & Other Requirements:
· Ability to safely lift up to l00lbs
· Able to tolerate temperatures above 120 for extended periods of time
- Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
