Super Cool HVAC needs a field manager who can run operations of a lean, rapidly growing HVAC company. This role reports to a high-energy owner who only hired his first employee in March 2022, but now has a jam-packed schedule with eight awesome employees. Bring your space suit, because this is a rocket ship.
Key job responsibilities:
Oversee Install Department
- Manage install personnel
- Training of installers
- Managing install schedule and customer communication
- Improve back-end install department processes (ordering, deliveries, shop and van inventories)
Direct operations of Service Department
- Contribute to Office Manager/Dispatcher’s route plans and ensuring correct calls on appropriate technicians
- Coaching/training maintenance and service technicians
- Assist with recruiting initiatives and hiring process
- Manage service vehicle inventory processes, ensuring parts replenishment process is being followed by all techs
- Assist with service pricing strategy
- Working with owner to develop, monitor, and meet service department KPIs
- Firefighting in field when things go sideways
- Quoting commercial jobs and maintenance contracts, occasionally selling residential systems
Covering for the owner if he ever takes a vacation... scheduling, sales, ordering equipment, putting out fires
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
