Job Title:Human Resources/People and Culture Manager
Reports to: President and General Manager
The People and Culture Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role providing full employee life cycle HR support. The role is critical in executing our strategic people initiatives, providing professional internal customer advisory support and driving HR functional excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will need to continue to lead and deliver the Human Resource plan within aggressive timeframes, providing employment law guidance and best employment practice.
The People and Culture Manager will develop and manage the areas of IT, Safety, Recruiting and Payroll
The essential job functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead creation of an engaging team culture by ensuring strong connections are built between leaders and team members, where all voices are heard, and team members are valued
- Responsible for coaching and developing HR team/leaders at all levels and driving to improved performance
- Assist leadership staff in resolution of issues and concerns which may include disciplinary actions
- Assist and oversee leadership with employee performance evaluation program.
- Establishes policies that seek to increase retention rates and foster employee job satisfaction, career progression, and high morale
- Lead employee engagement activities including workplace surveys, communication, and action planning
- Approves terminations, and exercises care that reasons are well documented and are not arbitrary or discriminatory
- Supporting the key strategic initiatives as well executing on the tactical HR tasks
- As a member of the leadership team, drive programs and processes that promote a safe, respectful, and productive culture
- Manage all areas of safety, case management, and assisting with providing a safe working environment for all employees
- Ensure company and employee compliance according to Federal, State, and local laws
- Maintains accurate knowledge of HR guidelines and practices, providing guidance as needed.
Also maintains knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
- Manage and execute recruiting strategies for exempt and non/exempt employees
- Support various company audit, address internal audit issues as needed.
- Work with external partner to implement and oversee benefit renewals
- Compliance and reporting in following with Greiner Packaging international procedures, processes, and policies.
- Work with the leadership team to shape and improve organization culture
- May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary
Requirements

- Significant knowledge of HR policies, guidelines, and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Payroll processing systems such as ADP , Kronos, or Paylocity, and other HR Technology as required
Role Requirements:
- A minimum 5 years' experience in as a HR Manager, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred HR oversight of more than 100 employees.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- HR certification desired
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and dealing with labor laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Technology
- Requires hand washing multiple times throughout a shift, including exposure to cleaning agents that may be harsh to the skin. (PPE Provided)
