A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HR/PAYROLL ASSISTANT
You arrive each day ready to provide a professional working relationship with physicians, employees and outside business partners. Along with assisting in human resources functions, you will also assist with the processing of payroll for over 2,000 employees and help provide training to new employees associated with the Your Health Above All Else philosophy. As a HR/Payroll Assistant, you love meeting new people and are able to make personal connections easily and ensure that every new employee feels welcome and valued.
You will be eager to ensure employees feel confident and empowered in their decision to join our organization. Don’t worry if you don’t have HR or Payroll experience. If you come with two or more years of experience in customer service or human resources, we’ll train you on everything you need to know to assist our employees.
You take charge of challenging opportunities as they arise and provide excellent customer service to employees and physicians. You feel good about representing a company with a solid reputation and playing an important part in the success of its employees.
QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN HR/PAYROLL ASSISTANT
- 2 years of experience in customer service, human resources, payroll or related employee centric role
- Experience in Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ten-key experience and keyboarding skills (minimum 60 wpm)
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving, attention to detail, critical thinking and communication skills
