Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and consultative advisement on employee development and engagement for their businesses
- Design and deliver workshops on management and professional development topics for Blackstone professionals at various levels as well as for specific businesses
- Develop and execute training needs and programs for strategic clients; manage existing programs and devise plan for additional training needs (e.g. management training, presentation skills, etc.)
- Provide recommendations for group specific development sessions and programs; advise on content, agenda, and speakers; monitor for overall effectiveness and alignment to Blackstone standards
- Support efforts with Global Talent Development to build and facilitate firm-wide “career landmark programs”
- Partner with Early Careers Development team to assess and revise annual training programs for specific businesses; ensure programs address specific workplace culture nuances and are content relevant
- Research and source external partners for design and delivery of programs
- Build relationships with colleagues across businesses/regions to better support their Talent Development needs
- Analyze and track workshop feedback, demand and participation
- Support leadership assessment and executive coaching need
- Contribute to the firm-wide diversity initiatives and partner closely with team to provide development solutions
- Lead facilitation of specific training programs as necessary
- 8+ years of experience in learning & development or talent; experience in Financial Services is preferred
- Strong team player and willing to “roll up sleeves”; must develop relationships across businesses and global HR
- Results orientated; must drive strategy with ability to independently execute
- Must interact confidently with all levels of the organization and group
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong listening and mentoring skills
- Ability to facilitate and instruct global training programs
- High level of professionalism
- Must thrive in a dynamic, diverse, global organization
- Must possess ability to work across a broad group and independently execute programs
- Strong Power Point and Excel skills

- Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products; and
- Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.
