SUMMARY: This is an intern level position responsible for supporting the data analytics and business functions within Human Resources and Talent Development groups. Individual responsibilities include primary tasks which directly contribute to the enhancement of current reporting methodologies, established processes, ad hoc requests, and any associate-related metrics that will measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives in HR and TD. The intern will gain professional work experience by delivering meaningful data support to business projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from multiple resources - Workday, surveys, exit/stay interviews, associate relations, economic, competitors, and labor statistics.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards, reports and data models. Provide leaders with relevant HR metrics to address areas of improvement such as hiring and retention of high potentials, time-to-fill, recognition, and engagement.
  • Prepare statistical overviews utilizing HRIS reports involving skills, learning course completion, personality assessments, experience/education history, performance data, payroll information, pay levels, and other associate record fields.
  • Develop reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Manage projects/tasks to meet expected deadlines and deliverables
  • Work directly with end users to ascertain data reporting needs
  • Provide consistent and timely feedback to management and impacted users of projects/tasks progress
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work with stakeholders to find the right questions to clarify project goals
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Exposure to Power BI Dashboard/Report/Data Modeling configuration and implementation through Power BI Services
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Able to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new information quickly.
  • Strong problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic with the ability to responsibly handle confidential HR data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • Must be able to collaborate in-person and remote as needed
