Summary:

The Child Mind Institute is seeking a Human Resource System Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, the Human Resource System Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the company’s HRIS. A primary responsibility will be to ensure that the applications align with the specific needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department. This position will play an integral part in translating business objectives and user needs into effective HRIS applications and support the overall efficiency of our HR operations. Reporting to the Director, HR Systems and Resources this is an exempt, full-time, hybrid position located in our NYC headquarters office.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
  • Partner with the Director, HR Systems & Resources and internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions that help to streamline and automate (new and current) HR processes.
  • Assess current system and utilization, identify, and recommend improvements such as training, configuration, and enhancements to maximize the value and efficiency of the HRIS.
  • Work with HR, IT and other internal departments as needed to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end user access, security, and reporting.
  • Develop and prepare reports for HR leadership and other company leaders/stakeholders using HRIS data.
  • Point of contact for questions regarding the HRIS system functionality and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as system administrator for HR systems, applications, and integrations with other systems. Collaborate with the Director, HR Systems & Resources, to plan and configure the HRIS to test new applications and features.
  • Support system maintenance, manage software implementations and upgrades. Work with vendors to implement solutions or enhancements.
  • Prepare training materials, guides, and documentation related to HRIS configurations and processes.
  • Provide user training and support to HR staff and end users.
  • Keep abreast of HR technology trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education training and experience.
  • 4 or more years of HRIS/HR system support experience.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now system.
  • Familiar with Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups.
  • Strong understanding of Excel's VLOOKUP plus analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be organized, resourceful and detail oriented; able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Human Resource Information Program (HRIP) certification a plus.
