Our HR Technology and DataTeam is looking for an HR Systems Analyst for Workday to join them. This role will join a team ofanalysts to support the implementation and post-implementation support of acloud-based HCM (Human Capital Management) system. It acts as an HRIS partnerthat configures and supports designated components in the system such asRecruitment & Onboarding, Benefits & Wellness, Time & Attendance,Talent Management, payroll, etc. You will have a hybrid work schedule in NiagaraFalls, NY, a suburb of Buffalo, NY.
HR Systems Analyst -Workday
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementation,managing, enhancing and troubleshooting in multiple Workday modules. Thissubject matter expert will be a point of contact for the HR Technology team andresponsible for researching and configuring technical solutions which includessystem configuration, enhancements, and deployment efforts. This individualwill play an essential role in the deployment and ongoing operations of SenecaGaming Corporation's HIRS implementation. You will have an immediate impact onimproving employee experience and organizational productivity throughconsistent processes, tools, and support and have visibility and exposure toour global HR technology ecosystem.

You will...

  • Participate in process design discussions for designated modules with Functional Leads and the Systems Implementation Partner to determine configuration options and Best Practices.
  • Work closely with the System Implementation Partner to define configuration requirements and perform configurations while working with the business users.
  • Develops test scripts and performs Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in collaboration with Functional resources.
  • Assist with the development of internal documentation (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)) in collaboration with Training and Functional resources.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytics for ongoing stakeholder needs.
  • Provide systems support and assist with end-user training.
  • Participate in integration design, build, and test with Implementation Partner for inbound/outbound integrations.
  • Support and maintain assigned modules & security.
  • Become System Certified in the assigned modules becoming the go-to subject matter expert.
  • Support and maintain assigned modules Analytics Serve as the HRIS partner supporting HCM areas in Workday, including Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance.
  • Design and maintain system configuration.
  • Test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
  • Work to meet expected business performance goals by providing full range of customer service.
  • Administer new feature releases for designated modules.
  • Others projects and duties as may be required by business needs.

Position Requirements

Eachposition has varying minimum qualifications.  In the absence of fullyqualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.

To be considered for the HR Systems Analyst -Workday, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Education/Experience:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or a combination of education and related experience required.
  3. At least two (2) years of experience supporting HCM systems or another enterprise application system (ex: ADP, Infor, Ceridian, UKG Pro, Workday, Oracle, etc.)
  4. Experience in Configurable Security, Custom Report writing, and/or Data Audit desired
  5. Knowledge of HR practices required; Direct HR experience preferred
  6. Proven Data protection and privacy experience required
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality a must
  8. Ability to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities
  9. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:

  1. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  2. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
  4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
