Valley Forge Casino & Resort is looking for a experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our growing HR team. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented and has a strong HRIS background.
Summary
Human Resource generalist knowledgeable in a variety of HR related systems and processes. Main responsibilities to include administration of our HR System, onboarding and hiring. Liaison with team members and gaming regulators. Opportunity to learn all aspects of HR office processes and responsibilities.
Job Duties
· Administer systems-related transactions in applicant tracking system, HR information system (HRIS), and learning management system.
· Responsible for onboarding and licensing being the liaison with the Casino Regulators.
· Assist with property-specific team member orientation and onboarding to ensure a positive new hire experience.
· Collect, analyze, and prepare reports regarding employment and labor-related matters.
· Collaborate with Team Member Services, providing information and documents as requested and directing team members for assistance as appropriate.
· Assist in organizing team member activities and recognition programs to increase team member engagement.
· Serve as a liaison with team members.
· Provide information and interpretation of policies and procedures to management and team members.
· Provide support to team members via phone calls, walk-in requests, emails, etc.
· Offer a high level of internal customer service to team members to answer their HR related questions and provide appropriate guidance and support for their requests.
· Other duties as requested.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required. College preferred.
· Two (2) years of Human Resources experience preferred.
· Knowledge of HR concepts, policies, and procedures, with clear understanding of legal compliance requirements and employment laws.
· Strong skills in MS Office applications.
· Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
· Ability to work varied hours, including some evenings and weekends.
· Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
