General Summary:
Maintain all training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and serve as customer support for responding to LMS user issues. Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities; and develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain all training records, and schedule events in the Learning Management System (LMS), analyze data for reports, design and deliver reporting (including graphs) as needed.
- Work with training facilitators to schedule and document all workshops/events/trainings and related content in LMS.
- Assist with live class coordination: handle logistics for training activities including locations and equipment.
- Support approved department-based coordinators with appropriate access to the LMS schedule, records, and reports.
- Plan, schedule, and organize, New Hire Orientation and Job Skill and Soft Skill Training.
- Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
- Support and coordinate internal trainers, SME’s and members of Georgia Quick Start for Kia Georgia.
- Assist in delivering the annual Safety & Environmental training plan(s) at Kia Georgia.
- Plan, organize, and prepare team members for Job Skill Training in Korea, including preparation of necessary travel documents and processing of passport requests.
- Maintain the T&OD Mailbox and Calendar.
- Order, track, and evaluate pricing of event refreshments, T&OD office and event supplies.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field along with zero (0) to (2) years’ experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interact with team members, trainees, and members of Georgia Quick Start.
- Teamwork oriented.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Experience with SAP system preferred.
- Solid understanding of Learning Management software.
- Working knowledge of MS Project desired.
