Job Description
JT4 LLC is looking for a results-oriented Human Resources professional. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR and employee recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee recruitment and orientations, benefits administration, conflict resolution, with great opportunity for developing and refining procedures and creating efficiencies.
Range Specific Requirements
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the annex
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process; attend job fairs which may require weekend work and evening work.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Successful Candidate Will Possess:
  • Proven working experience as HR Generalist
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Broad range of Human Resources strategies and practices

  • In-depth knowledge of California Labor Law and HR best practices

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field - desired

Job SummaryEssential Functions/Duties
Under general supervision, serves as a primary contact for HR related matters within a remote facility or as a member of the Corporate staff. Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to support, or individually perform, a variety of specialized administrative services, that may include:
  • Prepares Employee Requisitions (ER) for approval by supervision, screens applicants, requests applicant reference checks, coordinates interviews, updates an Applicant Tracking system, coordinates employee drug testing and conducts new employee orientations.
  • Assists unit personnel with travel arrangements and Expense Report preparation and processing.
  • Communicates and distributes HR-related information and documentation such as employee benefits, HR and Company policies and procedures.
  • Documents, processes, and maintains records in support of HR-related issues.
  • If assigned to a remote business unit or segment, serves as the HR liaison between the facility and the HR Corporate Office.
  • Develops staffing plans in conjunction with management.
  • Acts as the site EEO representative.
  • Prepares affirmative action and EEO reports.
  • Delivers training programs, individually and in teams including presentation, facilitation, and coaching.
  • Evaluates training processes (internal and external).
  • Prepares position descriptions.
  • Conducts job evaluations and coordinates approval process.
  • Monitors performance management system for compliance with Company policy and prepares reports to identify rating distributions.
  • Counsels employees on benefit plan options and employee eligibility.
  • Assists in the preparation of benefit plan communications and maintains benefit records.
  • Processes personnel actions into the HRIS system.
  • Assists in HRIS design and system development and enhancements.
  • Prepares and/or supervise preparation of complex statistical reports and summaries.
  • Performs related work as required.

SALARY:
The expected pay range for this position is $67,392.90 to $114,132.60 annually.
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4 LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Other Responsibilities
Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.
Working Conditions
This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 30 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills, and be able to work under deadlines. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. This position may require travel.
RequirementsEducation, Technical, and Work Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is required and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience. Possess good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications and ability to perform detail-oriented work. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills, be able to work under deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid state issued driver's license.
