We are looking for a HR Specialist to join our new office in downtown Fort Lauderdale, USA.
What you’ll be doing:
- Craft and Enhance Workplace Culture: Implement and refine employee standards and procedures, leveraging both existing and innovative HR systems and processes to foster a collaborative and engaging work environment.
- Ensure Legal and Ethical Compliance: Stay ahead of HR federal and state requirements, conduct thorough investigations when needed, and keep our records and HR systems up to date with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
- Benefits Administration: Manage benefits with a keen eye on detail, from resolving claims to communicating crucial benefit information to our team, ensuring everyone feels supported and valued.
- Champion Talent Acquisition and Development: assist in the recruitment efforts with a strategic approach to talent acquisition, from onboarding to career development, ensuring we attract and retain top talent right here in Fort Lauderdale.
- Foster Positive Employee Relations: Be the go-to for employee relations, handling everything from constructive feedback sessions to exit interviews with empathy and professionalism.
- Procurement and Facilities Management: Ensure our Fort Lauderdale office is not just a place to work, but a space where creativity and collaboration flourish, managing everything from supplies to building maintenance.
- Build and Maintain Strong Partnerships: Develop trusting relationships with external suppliers and partners, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
- Engage in Special Projects: Participate in and sometimes lead special projects that contribute to the success and continuous improvement of our Fort Lauderdale office.
- Employer Branding: You will be to coordinator to make our Fort Lauderdale office a smash hit in the local employment market. You will be working together with our Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager to grow the office
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 3 years experience in Human Resources, with a proven track record in office management.
- A deep understanding of HR/employment laws and regulations, particularly within the US context.
- Expertise in HR functions, best practices, and a desire to implement innovative solutions.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in HR Software (e.g., Bamboo HR) and MS Office or Google Workspace.
