JOB TITLE:HR Specialist
SUPERVISOR: Director of HR & Operations
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of HR & Operations, the HR Specialist assists in various aspects of the HR departmental duties, in a confidential capacity, to support SJLS’ Human Resources needs. The HR Specialist will have a specific focus on the efforts to further SJLS’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists the Director of HR & Operations as needed with duties, including but not limited to benefit management, recruitment, leave management, employment law, policy compliance, and general HR related matters;
· Assists in the maintenance of confidential, employee personnel and medical files;
· Works with Director of HR along with other members of the administrative team to maintain, improve upon and further existing SJLS DEI initiatives;
· Assists with annual reporting requirements such as Affirmative Action, EEO-1, CMS Medicare, 5500, etc.;
· Maintains weekly staff census, directory, staffing/recruitment updates;
· Assists with operational duties, as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree required- preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration;
· 3-5 Years’ experience required;
· DE&I Certification and experience preferred;
· Excellent organizational skills;
· Ability to maintain confidentiality;
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize;
· Proficient with Microsoft and Adobe products.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,809.78 - $51,555.87 per year
