Human Resources Manager - Hospital Setting
Position Overview: As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR functions within the hospital. This includes recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, policy development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in healthcare settings, capable of managing HR initiatives that align with our organization's mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the hospital attracts and retains top talent.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance and support to managers.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training and development needs for staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and maintain accurate HR records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- SHRM or HRCI certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
