Kontoor Brands is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Distribution Cetner in Mocksville, NC. This position reports to the HR Director and is responsible for supporting all Human Resources functions as it relates to the Distribution Center and its employees. This person will support cross-functional work streams to drive new initiatives as it relates to the well being and support of all DC center employees.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting the Distribution Center in all areas related to the Human Resources function for their assigned location. This includes but is not limited to the areas of employee relations, staffing, recruitment, payroll management, health and safety, compliance, and other employee related matters as well as the accurate and timely reporting of information to employees and management. Manages the entire Distribution Center employee life cycle from hiring to termination.
Responsibilities:

• Supports Sr. HR Leadership & Distribution Center management with the development and implementation of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the Distribution Center workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
• Manages the recruitment process for the Distribution Center using effective recruiting strategies necessary to recruit and hire a superior and diverse workforce as well as maintain expected staffing levels.
• Ensures legal compliance in all areas. Maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits. Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company policies and government laws & regulations. Conducts investigations into employee complaints and concerns. Makes recommendations on progressive discipline. Counsel's managers on employment issues.
• Manages and ensures timely and accurate processing of the incentive payroll for the Distribution Center. Oversees payroll team and works closely with corporate to meet tight payroll deadlines.
• Assists with the implementation of company safety and health programs. Takes an active role in health and safety committees. Ensures compliance with OSHA. Leads accident investigations and manages workers compensation claims. Works with management to ensure a safe and secure work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or business related field preferred. If no degree, significant relevant experience
• 3-5 Years of Human Resources experience with a generalist focus
• Knowledge of Employment Law/compliance and Employee Life Cycle Activities
• Bilingual English / Spanish required
• Must be willing to work OT and on weekends when needed
• Prior leadership experience
