Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to build and streamline Human Resource responsibilities in a Brosnan region! You will oversee your region's Human Resources responsibilities and activities and work directly with the Corporate Human Resource team. This position reports into the Regional Manager, VP.
This indivudal will be responsible for managing the recruitment/onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues, overseeing regulatory compliance, implementing performance management, and streamlining training and development.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as your region's primary Human Resources Manager with support from Corporate Headquarters.
- Assist Recrutiers/Coordinators handling hiring tasks such as but not limited to; creating requisitions, scheduling drug screenings, background checks & creating new hire personnel files for field line personnel.
- Perform employment/wage verifications; verbal and/or written
- Stay up to date on multiple states' compliance procedures/laws & trends
- Receive complaints from employees/customers, and escalate to the appropriate parties for the investigation process
- Act as a resource to managers concerning adverse action, highlighting possible legal concerns, and performance management
- Counsel employees on performance concerns, disputes with co-workers, supervisors, and management
- Conduct/Respond to audits to ensure compliance with state & federal law
- Submit Worker's Compensation claims to the insurance
- Process requests for FMLA/State Paid Family Leave, Worker's Comp, and ADA
- Process/Respond to unemployment claims
- Assist with the organization's employee recognition program
- Responsible for full onboarding process of field management personnel
- Respond to requests for employee records/subpoenas
- Assist Regional Manager, Corporate Human Resources, and Payroll Managers with ad hoc requests and projects.
- Partner with Field Operations Management for staffing, compliance needs, and handling of employee issues

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related.
- SHRM Certification Strongly Preferred
- 8+ years progressive HR experience
- Understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations in California a MUST. Addiitonal knowledge of Oregon and Washington, a plus.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Computer literacy with capability in MS Office, HRIS and ATS - iCIMS knowledge a plus.
- Remarkable organizational, conflict, and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
