Key responsibilities
- Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies and objectives for the entire company
- Work on specific HR projects including transition to PEO, updated HRIS and new ATS systems
- Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources function (e.g., OSHA, EEO, ERISA, Wage & Hour)
- Acts as primary contact with labor counsel and outside government agencies
- Protects interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
- Makes recommendations to senior management
- Establishes wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services, and company safety and health programs
- Interviews executive-level candidates
- Identify HR training programs that address company needs across division lines (e.g., Harassment, Performance Appraisal, Interviewing)
- Prepare periodic reports to top management, as necessary or requested
- Proficiency in Recruiting Strategy- Solid understanding of HRIS
- Expertise in benefits administration
- Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
- HRIS conversation experience
- Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
- 10+ years related experience working with multiple stakeholders
