Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager supports and enhances the organization's ability to meet its mission and objectives by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and Human Resources policies, programs, and practices. The HR Manager acts as a consultant and resource manager for the organization's leadership team, by identifying and implementing appropriate training, coaching, and systems. Remains aware of and recommends the implementation of best practices to deliver services and execute responsibilities in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Position Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and Human Resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Identifying and implementing appropriate training, coaching, and systems.
- Managing contract service providers (payroll services, benefit, and training consultants, etc.).
- Coaching and counseling leadership in employee relations, recruitment and selection and compliance,
- Developing, implementing, and managing compensation delivery and performance management systems.
- Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
- Manages the administration of all employee health and welfare benefit plans.
- Works with the leadership team to ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement(s).
- Manages compliance with local, State, and Federal law governing employment and employee relations.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively more responsible Human Resources management experience at the professional level.
- A minimum of two (2) years of previous supervisory/leadership experience directing staff to perform sub functions.
- Demonstrated experience in a minimum of the following areas: compensation management, recruitment and selection, compliance, benefit administration, employee relations.
- Familiarity with payroll processing/HRIS systems.
- A BS/BA in Management, Business or a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, GPHR or PHR certification.
- Experience in a collective bargaining environment.
- Previous experience in a social service or other environment serving a diverse client base including economically or socially disadvantaged populations.
- Familiarity with HRSA (Health Resources and Services Administration) requirements for FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers).
Compensation Details:
This is a salary exempt position with target starting base compensation ranging between $73,500 to $92,000 per year paid on a bi-weekly basis.
