PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing the Employee Journey:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Manage employee relations issues confidentially and professionally.
- Investigate and resolve complaints brought forth by employees.
- Act as a trusted advisor to resolve employee relations issues.
- Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and compliance with employment laws.
Increasing Employee Value:
- Manage and lead Performance calibration sessions as part of the annual performance review process.
- Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.
- Provide support in the delivery of HR-related learning programs (e.g., Dignity & Respect, Diversity & Inclusion, and Leadership skill development).
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives to enhance employee experience.
Operational Administrative Oversight:
- Payroll – validate all payroll transactions.
- Taxes – ensure all state and local taxes are set up correctly.
- WC- ensure all state workers' compensation is set up correctly.
- Responsible for processing invoices and benefits payments.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, compliance with current legislation, and alignment with best practices.
Helping Achieve Organizational Goals:
- Support the current workforce to reduce turnover.
- Monitor Human Capital key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Positively drive change in support of business objectives by guiding change management plans using sound change management direction and practices.
Requirements and Skills
- 5-7 years of proven work experience as a or in a similar role(s).
- BS Degree in Human Resources, or related field.
- Employment Law Experience Multi-State.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Adaptive to change and meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and analytically driven.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
