Job Description
This is an onsite position from the Cincinnati (Forest Park) facility. The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for delivering HR expertise and consulting to employees at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- As the Human Resources (HR) Manager, you play a key role in supporting the facility’s workforce
- Manage various (HR) functions such as recruitment, training, employee relations, compensation, health and safety, and payroll
- Administering payroll processes for both hourly and salary employees
- Reviews benefit and payroll forms for accuracy and coordinates enrollment with third-party administrator
- Providing ongoing employee education and support in areas like health and safety, workplace conduct, performance management and recognition
- Ensuring a positive work environment with ongoing employee activities and events
- Administering company leave programs and managing worker’s compensation claims, ensuring compliance with employment laws
- Maintaining HR analytic reports and assisting in employee training and development processes
- Maintain employee handbook with updated resolutions, and other pertinent information as needed
- Support the implementation and consistent application of human resource policies
- Facilitate timely communication of HR memos, programs, and policies
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements

Qualifications
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and functions
- Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to work within existing policy structure to meet the needs of management and employees
- Experience in conducting investigations and knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive involvement and understanding of all levels of employees and the related nuances of their working environments
- Minimum of 3 years of related Human Resources Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- PHR or SHRM Credentials a plus
- Need to pass BCI/FBI background check for employment
