Overview
Our internship program provides real-world experience enabling future professionals the ability to apply what they are learning in school, to applicable situations in a career field they are pursuing. This internship program helps interns gain additional skills that can be applied to future jobs.
We are looking for an aspiring HR professional to be our Human Resources Intern. In this position, you learn the ins-and-outs of the HR department. While learning and gaining human resources experience is your primary concern in this role, you also perform a variety of administrative duties, such as creation of job postings to help with recruiting efforts, sitting in on interviews, and helping with DE&I initiatives. Our ideal applicant is currently completing a degree in HR or business administration. Having a background in social media marketing is helpful.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Complete various administrative duties as needed
- Create job postings for job boards and social media platforms
- Assist with recruitment process; resume review, scheduling phone screens, revising documents, sit in on interviews
- Assist HR department with employee filing, leaning various HR forms
- Create HR metrics dashboard focusing on Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Assist with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
- Help payroll with various tasks and special projects
- Conduct market research on behalf of the department

- The successful intern will be punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, strong organization skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Successful interns will have the ability to analyze problems in a systematic and timely manner, look for creative ways in offering new approaches, and is customer focused.
- Interns should be self-sufficient, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking.
Relevant Fields of Study - Working towards a bachelor’s degree in:
- Human Resources or Business Administration degree
