Their ideal candidate is an experienced, competent, and collaborative candidates that are familiar with HR processes and Labor Relations. This individual must be a self-starter with a high attention to detail and ability to connect and build trust with their employees. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of HR Generalist disciplines, including labor relations, performance and talent management, HR project initiatives, hiring and onboarding, and training. Assist in carrying out the administrative, operational, and strategic roles of the Human Resources department.
- Schedule - 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday

Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Tasks related to human resource planning and analysis
- Talent management/staffing and recruitment of colleagues on talent initiatives, e.g., workforce planning, high-potential employee development, succession planning
- Health and safety
- Recommend, develop, and implement employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship and support the overall effectiveness of the organization
- Compensation and benefits
- HR consulting and coaching, e.g. in people and cultural issues, in technical and legal aspects of the employment including hiring, termination, performance management and rewards
- Maintain and apply up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and OSHA regulations, ensuring compliance in HR practices and policies
- Collaborate with the HR and plant management team to analyze HR metrics and trends, providing insights to drive informed decision-making
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, working collaboratively to improve HR processes and contribute to organizational growth
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Recruiting experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA law and experience around reporting.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist around HR practices, relevant labor laws, and regulations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing plant and with the union - preferred.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SCP, or PHR) preferred
