Hiring for HR Director in the North Dallas area.
The HR Director directs Human Resources efforts to ensure performance and organizational excellence, adherence with all regulatory, compliance and legal Human Resources issues, and promote an environment of respect for all employees, patients and visitors. The HR Director works closely with the hospital Chief Executive Officer and management team to develop and implement effective human resource strategies and programs, including organizational development, training, performance management and compensation. Leads recruitment, employee relations, employment counseling, and other related Human Resources functions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. The HRD develops benefit communications and counsels employees on benefits related issues.
- The HRD may act as the Facility Compliance Officer and is responsible for ensuring the organization complies with government regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, OSHA, ADA, Joint Commission, CMS, federal, state, and local laws/regulations. Avoids missteps that could result in hefty fines, legal ramifications, and reputation damage.
- Assists in managing the learning management system program and website. Trains employees on how to use the web-based system, as well as troubleshoot any questions and/or problems from users.
- Works jointly with HR Generalists and oversees the sourcing, interviewing and hiring and onboarding processes of employees. Ensure the recruiting strategies are up to date and implementation of new strategies when applicable.
- Coordination and administration of the annual performance evaluation processes
- Manages the compensation function for the hospital. Plans, develops, and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Oversee and supervise the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
- Facilitate and manage employee relations on behalf of the company
- Projects a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients, co-workers, and the facility and adhering to HIPAA policy. Reports, in good faith, any known or suspected activity that appears to violate laws, rules, regulations or the Code of Conduct.
- Assists Legal and CEO with the maintenance and follow up on all hospital contracting. Sets up and conducts monthly contracting calls with corporate.
- Oversee, manage, and development of direct reports
- Manages staff that process credentialing and recredentialing applications for medical providers. Implements policies and procedures to ensure all applications are properly verified and uploaded into online credentialing system.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Ability:
- Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
- Four-year degree required and five years experience in the field
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification or SHRM Certified Profession (CP/SCP) preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
- Previous healthcare background desired
- Requires continuing education, which is directly related to the job specification
- Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Knowledge of state, federal and accrediting body regulations and standards related to healthcare.
- Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for his/her own professional advancement and that of others
- Ability to relate and work effectively with all levels of staff
- Must be computer literate with basic fundamental computer skills that are required to perform essential job-related duties. Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
