Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting and maintaining core HR technology systems. Performs data integrity, testing of system changes, analyzing process, and data flows for process improvement opportunities. Supports Workday system upgrades, testing, and other data management and integration activities. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues.
Processes employment changes within HCM and performs audits to ensure data integrity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Partner with HR, Finance and Operations Team to enable the effective use of HCM and related integrated systems and workflow solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and point-of-contact for all HR specific processes and systems.
  • Process position management and employee life-cycle transactions and support with job requisitions in HCM working with HR managers and department managers to support new hires and existing employees with onboarding and other relevant data/job changes such as hires/rehires, security role assignment, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, update personal data, etc.
  • Assist and train HR and department managers on how to use HCM and respond to questions and concerns.
  • Respond to employee issues and communicate status across the HCM and HR Teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Audit HR systems to ensure correct information has been input and processed; process data correction requests from operations or as a result of internal audits. Work with HR to identify issues and make corrections to employee data; counsel HR when correction may impact other employee data such as PTO accruals, benefits, compensation, etc.
  • Populate templates for mass data load events or acquisitions.
  • Participate in system testing for software updates and business process changes.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up to date business processes and job aids.
  • Participates in special projects.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
-Associates Degree in Information Technology/Systems, Human Resources, or Business-related area of study
EXPERIENCE:
-5 years experience in system applications, technical environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
-Knowledge of human resource practices, techniques and standards
-Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
-Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with all levels and communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users
-Experience working with a diverse set of partners
-Must be highly organized and have the ability to pay persistent attention to detail, while maintaining an overall view of the situation and the "big picture"
-Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools with advanced Excel skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or Business Administration
EXPERIENCE:
-Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) (e.g. Workday) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
PAT RATING: Physical Requirements: Light Physical Agility Test (PAT) Rating
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert up to 15 pounds of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
