Human Resources Culture Solution Specialist

Summary:  The Culture Solution specialist will have a primary role in the overall culture of United Radio.  They will maintain our already robust culture as well as suggest improvement.  They will also assist in employee investigations, consult with supervisors and assist in Human Resource Department initiatives and special events.

Responsibilities:  

• Maintain the culture of United Radio using program, events and other tools.
• Offer suggestions and solutions to programs and initiatives to enhance the culture
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.  
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Develops alternative solutions. Works well in group problem solving situations. Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.   
• Assists management with performance concerns, disciplinary action and conflict management issues.  
• Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.  
• Assists in the administration of performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.   
• Takes the lead on coordination of company picnic and assist with HR projects as necessary.  

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR/ SHRM-CP Certificate preferred.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software including but not limited to MS Word, Publisher and Outlook and MS Excel.  As well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated between $55,000 and $65,000 annual salary.  The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
