Job Function
Reporting into the HR Manager, the HR Co-Op will be based out of Baltimore, MD and will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager by providing administrative assistance and contributing to the efficient functioning of our organization's Human Resources operations.
Responsibilities
Generalist:
Assist in the recruitment, selection and onboarding process for employees; to include applicant tracking system, background check and drug screen, personnel file management, orientation, payroll and benefits.
Plan and coordinate employee social activities
Assist in corporate community impact and community related initiatives: volunteer events, employee giving and grant management
Support employees with HR related questions
Assist with communication and logistics to support employee activities and engagement events
Talent Management:
Assist HR Manager in the rollout and deployment of learning and development programs for employees across the organization.
Assist in the tracking, measuring and communication of change initiatives
Assist in the collection & tracking of strategic workforce planning information
Ensure data quality for training records management, reporting and metrics
Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
Experience Required: 0>2 years

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in HR is welcome but not mandatory. We encourage recent graduates and individuals interested in pursuing a career in HR to apply.
Strong background in Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Excellent communications skills and high level of motivation
Be able to commit to Vibrantz for the entire term of the co-op (6 months)
