We are currently seeking a temporary HR Clerk for one of our clients in the Beaumont, CA area. The HR Clerk will be responsible for organizing and reorganizing personnel files, workers' compensation and medical files. The successful candidate will support the HR department in ensuring that all files are up-to-date, accurate, and complete.
This is an onsite and temporary position.
Core Duties:
Categorize employee files based on relevant categories such as job titles and employment status
Audit all files for completeness and accuracy
Prepare files for digital storage and create an inventory of all files
Report on the progress of the project and ensure the timely completion
Assist HR staff with audits or legal compliance as needed
Keep track of all materials, file supplies and other products associated with the project and perform related administrative duties
Manage all electronic files related to the project
Maintain the utmost confidentiality and professionalism with all employee records
What we’re looking for:
At least 2 years of related experience in data entry, filing or record-keeping within an HR department is needed
High level of confidentiality is needed
Knowledge of state and federal HR policies and regulations is desirable.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
Proficiency with computer usage and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
