The Human Resources Business Partner will provide business-focused, strategic and operational consultation to management on Human Resources-related issues. The HRBP will interpret HR policies and employment regulations, advise on risk management, and coach and support managers in handling people management and change processes. Identifies and promotes new ways of working and empowering approaches to people management. Assess and anticipates HR-related needs, and through collaborative partnerships across the organization, delivers value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HR Business Partner operates with a high level of autonomy and possesses significant subject matter expertise.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or related field
- 6-8 years of prior Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HR role
- Prior experience in health care of Federally Qualified Heath Centers (FQHC) preferred
- Solid knowledge of HR principles and practices to include: Employee Relations, Compensation, Labor Relations, Training and Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management, Compliance and Labor Laws
- Prior experience working in a union experience required
- Collaborative, team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems, ADP WorkforceNow preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess strong written and oral communication skills
- HRCI or SHRM certification a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provides Human Resources support to assigned client groups to assist, guide, and direct business leaders, and align Human Resources solutions with business needs
- Limits potential risk and exposure to the company by effectively managing and resolving basic and complex employee relations issues through conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations as necessary
- Conducts regular meetings with respective business leaders
- Analyzes trends and metrics, and collaborates with CHRO to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Ensures alignment of clinic and corporate objectives
- Assists in rolling out corporate-wide HR initiatives to client groups
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to business leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Works closely with business leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Identifies and conducts training needs for business units
- Prepares reports as needed to support local business and corporate needs
- Travels to assigned client groups/locations as required
