As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide Human Resources support to various non-unionized, manufacturing plant locations in North America. You are responsible for hourly and salary employment administration, recruitment, onboarding, training and orientation of the workforce. The HRBP must be well versed in employment law and the EEOC, and experienced in employee relations and engagement, performance management, as well as internal investigations. Administration and oversight of Company health, welfare, benefits and retirement plans, payroll processing and environmental health and safety are managed by other company designated individuals. Successful candidates will act as a liaison between employees and managers, and effectively handle questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.  

Job Duties:

• Collaborate and build strong partnership with hiring managers and leadership to identify talent needs and gain a clear view on their hiring needs and organizational goals to attract the right talent in the organization.
• Implement hiring strategies to support significant growth across the different geographies of the business to attract and retain talent.
• Conducts pre-employment checks and employee eligibility verifications; on-boards successful candidates and implements exceptional New Hire Orientation procedures.
• Conduct market research on direct competitors and organizations outside of the industry with similar roles; gathering of compensation data and regularly updating the NCS compensation structure based on market needs
• Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve emotional and complex problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standard practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
• Train and implement Managers on company performance programs, work with managers and supervisors to identify performance gaps, succession planning and talent development and recommend solutions to build capability and close those gaps.
• Support and facilitate the development of managers in people leadership and employee development.  Change Management leadership; emphasis on progress, simplicity and customer-centric response

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic Human Resources environment
• Competency in computer software and skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Proven ability to interact with and influence leaders
• Sound judgement, discretion, flexibility and integrity.
• Positive, professional presence and demeanor, exhibiting exceptional customer service
• Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers, including employees at all levels of the organization and with diverse groups
• Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures
• Detail-oriented; must ensure a high level of accuracy
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Must demonstrate initiative and deliver results
