Position Overview
Care Access is committed to expanding our operations outside the United States (OUS). We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our OUS operations – specifically within Canada and Europe. What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
- Manage and act as main point of contact for OUS PEO, Deel and Remote.com, to streamline international hiring, onboarding, and employment processes. Ensure accurate and efficient payroll and benefits administration for OUS employees.
- Stay updated on the hiring and employment regulations and requirements in various OUS locations. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in all aspects of HR operations.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for OUS positions. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) teams to leverage recruitment platforms that are most effective in different countries.
- Perform traditional HRBP duties, including advising managers on HR policies and practices, conducting employee performance reviews, and contributing to the development of HR programs and policies.
- Collaborate with company leadership to develop and execute the OUS strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business goals. Provide insights and recommendations on HR matters related to OUS expansion.
- Work closely with the compensation team to ensure that pay structures are aligned with the OUS strategy. Conduct regular salary benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in the OUS markets.
- Address and resolve employment-related issues with OUS employees, promoting a positive workplace culture and ensuring fairness and consistency in HR practices.
- Collaborate with US HRBP in implementing and managing US employee relations cases, including performance counseling and complex investigations in partnership with legal.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- This is a remote position with less than 15% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
What You Bring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of OUS employment laws, regulations, and cultural nuances. Experience in HRBP support for Canada and/or Europe preferred.
- Proficiency in recruitment strategies for international markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of proven experience as an HRBP or HR Manager with a focus on international HR operations.
