Caterpillar is looking to add a skilled Human Resources Business Partner to our Product Support& Logistics Division team. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to provide direction and support to business units in the areas of staffing, employee development, employee counseling, training, and performance management. What you will do:
• Making recommendations to senior management on issues concerning employee engagement, turnover, and training.
• Administering compensation analysis; monitoring performance evaluation programs and supporting the business in executing the people strategy.
• Handling employee relations issues and leader consultation on a wide array of issues.
• Conducting organizational effectiveness assessments and recommending programs to address issues.
What you will have:
Education/Experience: 4-year university or college degree.3 years of related experience.
Effective Communications and Employee Relations: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures with Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures, and policies regarding Human Resources management. Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking and Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.
