Summary:


The Human Resources Leader will be responsible for providing the full scope of HR advice, guidance, and support for the site. In this role, the chosen candidate will drive strategy, integrate, and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, and manage complex issues across multiple functions.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource (HR) functions including all aspects of professional relations, hourly relations, employee benefits, compensation, employee engagement, practices, training, organizational change and development and communications for client groups
  • Develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment and develop/implement appropriate change management plans as required
  • Lead best in class onboarding and orientation for new salaried and hourly employees.
  • Perform a leadership role in recruiting, selection, performance management and career development
  • Partner with the clients to define roles and missions, design the organizational structure, and drive organization effectiveness
  • Advise, coach, counsel, and provide candid feedback to People Leaders
  • Serve as liaison with a future contract labor supplier
  • Ensure employee data accuracy and partner with Finance team to support provide key metrics to support decision-making.
  • Drive an HR strategy that delivers business results while promoting employee advocacy
  • Provide support and deliver training on a variety of Human Resources topics including interviewing, employee engagement, site policies and EEO compliance
  • Facilitate communications throughout the organization and act as an employee advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment
  • Ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved to drive and promote a fully compliant work environment
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in field.
  • Coach and develop an HR Generalist direct report with plans to grow the HR team aligned with future business growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • PHR or SHRM CP preferred.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in areas such as mediation, EEO compliance, and litigation
  • Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent, and effectively interfacing with and coaching high-level business and operations leaders
  • Ability to energize and lead in complex goal-driven organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and create a positive, team-oriented culture
  • Passionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed
  • Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
  • Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Understanding of HR concepts and principles with expertise in a specialty area such as staffing, analytics, facilitation, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Exceptional multi-tasking ability.
