What You’ll Do
Our Human Resources Associate performs a wide variety of support and administrative activities for the HR department including recruitment, affirmative action maintenance, employee relations, payroll, benefits, compensation, compliance, safety and other related areas. The HR Associate is the first level on our HR team and we’d love to help someone grow their knowledge and skills to build an HR career!
Responsibilities Include
- Under general supervision, assist with recruiting, interviewing, and placement of applicants in ATS system
- Assist in maintenance of employee records in the Human Resources Information System, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, organizational change, including promotions and transfers etc. and other key details
- Maintain accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manage internal and external job postings through the hiring and onboarding process
- Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the Bank as well as stay interviews for current employees, as requested or assigned by manager
- Responsible for the administration of all invoices and reconciliations for the HR department
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers
- Prepare and conduct New Employee Orientations in coordination with Training Specialist
- Support the preparation of materials for trainings and other training related events as needed
- Conduct or assist with record audits and mandatory reporting, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, Affirmative Action Plan, Pay Transparency Reporting and other compliance reviews
- Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including HRIS, creating robust reporting and analyzing data for trends and patterns with respect to recruitment and hiring practices, turnover, compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs
- May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure jobs are properly classified
- Monitors ACA, Labor Law Postings and other compliance reporting
- Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, preferred
- One to two years in Human Resources, working with areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred
- Experience managing online resources such as HRIS, Applicant Tracking System preferred
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

This position is based in Sacramento. Occasional travel to branch locations, corporate offices or community functions throughout the greater Yolo, Solano, Sacramento, Placer, Contra Costa, and El Dorado county areas is required.
Pay Range (Hourly): $20 - $25/hour
