Job Description:
The Human Resource Associate serves as the face of the HR department. This involves welcoming guests and facilitating the day-to-day operations of the front desk/reception area and carrying out the responsibilities in some or all of the following areas: recruiting and staffing logistics, employee onboarding, employee communication, just-in-time instruction on use of systems and employee services.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the front desk/reception area, ensuring supplies and equipment are available and in good order.
- Maintains employee files and the HR filing system.
- Facilitates the daily schedules of the HR office.
- Contributes the successful recruiting and onboarding processes as needed.
- Manages the badge access system.
- Promotes effective employee communications via management of the HR components of the health system intranet and other communication vehicles.
- Facilitates responses to employee inquiries for benefits, policies, employee issues, payroll, education, training and safety, welfare and wellness.
- Creates reports and tracks metrics as requested.
Job Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
- Three years of clerical experience required.
Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
