Summary
Pace Industries is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department's daily activities. A significant amount of time will be focused on hourly recruitment activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
(but not limited to...)
- Oversee front desk activities to include applicants, associate needs, incoming visitors and alike.
- Take calls and redirect when needed.
- Assist associates with password resets, badge replacements, document printing, and employee self-service training.
- Post, update and remove job posting in Workday.
- Screen resumes and candidates.
- Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
- Create profiles in Odyssey and badges for new hires, guests, and alike.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
- File paperwork and documents, electronically and manually.
- Track HR Related data, as needed.
- Address and assist with associate queries about various HR related matters and relay the need to the appropriate individual, as needed.
- Review, post, and distribute company policies in digital formats and/or hard copies.
- Participate in organizing company events and careers days.

Qualifications
- Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus.
- Familiarity with Workday and/or Odyssey preferred.
- Experience with MS Office
- Good understanding of full cycle recruiting.
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation
- Must possess solid organizational skills.
- Actively pursuing or willing to pursue a degree in Human Resources Management or similar field is preferred.

- Must be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
