You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the Officer Personnel Plans Department of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience creating and maintaining files in accordance with organization policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- Experience utilizing HUMAN RESOURCES automated systems to research information in reference to personnel records and databases.
- Experience researching and compiling data to provide appropriate responses to inquiries.
- Experience providing technical information, guidance and assistance to personnel regarding policies and procedures.
- Experience processing gains and losses, tracking and reporting gains and losses and other associated manpower tasks.
- Experience receiving applications, making travel arrangements, pay arrangements, and ensuring service credit for retirement purposes.
